I don't know how many of you actually watched his video. As often as he says stuff that annoys me with regards to his view of how companies should run, he is even more often the victim of being quoted out of context to create controversial topics by the gaming media. In this case he was said how he doesn't get the Japanese when asked why SE doesn't release FF7 remake despite the huge fan interest. I think even SE fans would agree with him on that one.
Also, he wasn't simply praising 'Merica and hating on Japan, calling them stupid. He said MS made the wrong move at the beginning by labeling themselves as hardcore only with the original Xbox, while the Wii, even though it made money, didn't manage to hold consumer interest in buying enough software outside of the usual few suspects, and it eventually led to the Wii U, which he considers a mistake. He actually praised Sony for having the best console strategy for appealing to the core and also going for the "Everyone" market by releasing a huge variety of games. And as far as I know, Sony is a Japanese company.
It's fine to not like someone, but taking things out of context or disregarding info is just wrong.
