Im going to say the same thing about the Wii and the games you just mentioned.  They have done well and there is no reason to try and say other wise even if you dont like them.

Well, but not enough for this huge install base and for popular Nintendo exclusive franchises.

In my opinion normal number for console exclusive - above 4m (Gears, Uncharted, Halo, LBP, GoW, Forza, GT, MGS4).
Look and Z:SS - not even 4m, but it is released near the end of console cycle and suppose to be HUGE accordingly to Nintendo auditory. And Metroid numbers - so much shame. Even Hitman and Tomb Raider do better today.
This is all because hardcore audience of Xbox and PS much bigger than Nintendo. Huge game sales on Wii was possible thanks to casual gamers.

Thats why i dont understand people talking about Zelda, Mario Kart or something will save Wii U.

It is because they tend to sell well

1 Super Mario Bros. NES 1985 Platform Nintendo 29.08 3.58 6.81 0.77 40.24
1 The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time N64 1998 Action Nintendo 4.10 1.89 1.45 0.16 7.60
2 The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess Wii 2006 Action Nintendo 3.56 1.95 0.60 0.66 6.77
3 The Legend of Zelda NES 1986 Action Nintendo 3.74 0.93 1.69 0.14 6.51

Anyways, yes fans can exagerate at times and the biggest console exclusives but Mario and Zelda tends to be in the big exclusive lists often.  Zelda may not outsell Gran Turismo and Halo but it does outsell Gears and Metal Gear often.
