I totally agree with that.
Look at other semi hardcore Nintendo titles without Mario in the title.
The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess - 6.77
Donkey Kong Country Returns - 5.93
Animal Crossing: City Folk - 4.44
The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword - 3.64
Kirby's Epic Yarn - 2.02
Metroid Prime 3: Corruption - 1.64
Kirby's Return to Dreamland - 1.54
Not that great sales numbers anymore. It is because huge casual audience of Wii dont know anything about them.
And unless Wii U be able to capture casuals again - we will never see 30m sales numbers on Mario games.
