So Crackdown wouldn't even work on the Wii then.  I am NOT saying if the Wii U was coded for, that it won't get games, and and others get improved versions, just that if developers work with much larger space, available on the other two, they aren't even going to bother to try to do a target that would fit the Wii U and that is the concern I expressed in this thread.  The issue is games of the future, not what is out now, which the Wii U can more than certainly run.

I agree that thjere will certainly be many cases of developers not going to the trouble of recoding their PS4/720 games for the Wii U. But I believe there will still be other cases where it will happen.

Again, I think it depends on the target to code towards, and if they will do it.  The WIi U sells gangbusters, what projects get greenlit fundingwise would change.  But if the target is 8GB RAM PCs, then the Wii U is going to have trouble.  And that is the concern.  There will be some things of course, which also might make for the PS3 and 360 still having added life, and some games do not need that much RAM, as you see with tablet gaming, and I know from my games I design.  But the concern is the top end stuff.
