Played this game through again about christmas time on the Vita. I remember reading about it in Sega Saturn Magazine in 1997/8 and hoped it would get converted. Had given up on it until Ubisoft snapped it up for release in Europe in 1999.
Completely agree with the reviewer about Grandia 2, it just grated toward the end. The story was nowhere near Grandia's standard either. It wasnt a bad game but I think it speaks volumes that I havnt played it through again yet i've played Grandia almost once every two years since.
