Patch 1.08 nerfs overpowered characters by making attacks they have completely useless. There's no reason to ever use Fat Princess' sword knight anymore or Raiden's air down triangle, and if people would stop being scared of Drake's barrel, they'd realize that any attack cuts through it like paper. Characters that weren't overpowered like Parappa had some attacks that can't be used after other attacks, forward square, killing combo possibilities for a mid tier character who had very little combo possibility to begin with. Then after all that, they buff Good Cole who is one of the better characters in the game, and the nerf to Sly is so minor that he's still God tier. With how broken the game is now, far more than before, there's really no reason to ever go back to it. But there are some people I play with on there so I might go back to it once a month. Oh yeah. One last thing. I got one set of titles. I've been sitting on black belt for three months now and haven't received my second set of titles. On the fourth month right now and since titles haven't reset there's no reason to try and play ranked matches since I'm still on black. That tells you how much they're doing to fix this games issues. |
I actually like the changes, I main Sweet Tooth and they finally improved his level 2 which was useless before and now is badass, I have learn to not complaint too much about certain characters and just accept the game, I mostly have difficulties with Raiden, Nariko and Dante which are combo machines if they start a chain I may as well just drop my controller for 5 seconds cause there's no way to stop the combo unless they mess up.
