Filling 7GB with super quality textures will probably do the opposite, long long load times. Although using 3GB for super quality textures should be enough for 1080p, and the rest can be used to keep reading data into memory in the background. Copy all the important parts in memory and accessing menus, maps, nearby inside areas can all be instant. No more hesitating before going into a door in fear of another load screen.

There a ton of things to do with more memory... even put more destructives things in FPS, or bigger maps, or more players, etc.
