I'm not... 7GB RAM for games can create fully open worlds games with super quality textures.

Or eliminate loading times beyond start up. Skyrim was only a 3.8gb install on 360. Even with the 5.5gb install of the ps3 version copied in memory, there's still almost 4 times the memory left that the ps3 version had available run time.

Filling 7GB with super quality textures will probably do the opposite, long long load times.
Although using 3GB for super quality textures should be enough for 1080p, and the rest can be used to keep reading data into memory in the background. Copy all the important parts in memory and accessing menus, maps, nearby inside areas can all be instant. No more hesitating before going into a door in fear of another load screen.

And that is, sir, what Mark Cerny was talking about. If they really do that, It will be awesome!
