By the consensus, it's the worst in the series. I agree (from the moment it released, I was one of the first to express my disappointment with it here - long before you were a poster). You disagree. Life goes on.

Maybe you shouldn't have worded it as non existant... right. That kind of hyperbole is just you trying to make gears 2 look worse than it is. Part of the problem with people on the internet (such as yourself) is that your constantly distorting the truth and repeating it so loudly and so often that it becomes reality for many. The way people remember gears 1 on the internet is inflated due to nostalgia, but the way people remember gears 2 is also taken to an extreme due to issues with the launch. None of these extremes really represent what either game really was.
The gears 3 shotgun is a perfect example. In reality its the same shotgun from gears 2 (cliff said so himself) but because people convinced themselves that everything about gears 2 is bad the gears 3 shotgun was suddenly 1000 times more consistent. Its not. The only thing that epic did was they gave everyone in gears 3 the Aim assist that only host had in gears 2. So now all the noobs that were terrible off host could feel like they were badasses when their missed shots register and they get a kill. You want to see a gears player with skill, its the guy beasting with the gnasher off host in gears 2. Ofcourse the people who were constantly getting crushed in gears 2 would love gears 3, it makes perfect sense.

Your problem is you criticize behavior you're guilty of. And speaking of Cliff B, he also calls Gears 2's multiplayer his biggest regret. Funny how you skipped that. And btw, go look up my LIVE account: NgEeXnT. I got anything BUT crushed in Gears 2.
Bottom line, people don't agree with you about the game. It's not a big deal.

Cliffy also said gears 2 is better than gears 1 whats your point? I don't need people to agree with me, thats not what this is about. But if your going to spread flat out falsehoods I'm going to call you out.
