God, this, a hundred times this. Nintendo will never ever -EVER- be supported by 3rd parties in any big significant way. The sooner they start realizing this, the better. I wish they'd invest in some other franchises besides Mario. This year alone, we're getting (likely) a 3D Mario, Mario Kart, Mario & Donkey Kong, Mario & Luigi, and Mario Golf.
And that's not even counting stuff like Luigi's Mansion 2 and that NSMBU Luigi DLC. Oh yeah, and Japan's getting Mario Kart Arcade GP DX this year, too.
Also, late last year they put out New Super Mario Bros. U and Paper Mario, plus e-shop stuff like Super Mario Bros. the Lost Levels, Mario Golf and Dr. Mario.
How about some diversity in the form of different IPs? Instead of diversity within the Mario franchise? X'(
Invest a bit in new, promising studios, and help them turn into successful developers. They did it before, and they seem to be in need of more studios and games to sustain themselves now more than ever, as it's clear 3rd parties don't give a flying fart.
