So this is like a mini 360 without a DVD drive that can't play disc games(no drive), but can play 360 GoD games/XBLA games and has extra (apple tv-like) functions. You can also hook it up to the Durango to play disc based 360 games through that. Interesting.
Could be good for people who want a cheaper set top box and want to play the occasional 360 downloadable game. Then later if they buy a Durango they could interface it with that to have access to all 360 games.
For people who don't care about BC then they don't worry about having to pay extra for the feature. If they do end up wanting it later they can pick up a mini!
I was thinking about getting an Apple TV box myself, but this 360 mini could be a good alternative, especially if it has an attractive price. Then I'd have BC when I end up getting a Durango and wouldn't have to worry about my 360.
I wonder if you can hook up the 360 HD-DVD drive to the 360 mini. ;-p
Also the Durango not being required to always be online is great and as it should be.
