What's an Associates Degree? A lot of people mentioned this, but I've never heard the term in Canada.

Since we're all naming our degree's, I recieved a BA in Astrophysics last year, and I'm currently waiting to go to Teachers College and become a high school Physics teacher.

An Associates Degree is a two-year degree awarded at community colleges and some Universities (I think). They can be used for some jobs that require formal education but not a Bachelor's. The credits earned toward an Associates can often be used to fulfil the first two years of a Bachelor's degree in an appropriate program. Basically a community college diploma I guess, but I've never heard anyone call it that.
