I have all the current as well as retro systems and would  have to say PS1 & Saturn.  The vast majority of the games for both these systems tried to push 3D too far too soon.  Most of the games are just too painful to play (horrible framerates/blocky textures etc.).  Don't get me wrong, there are many games on both systems that I still love, it's just there are a lot of games that show that the systems weren't ready to push the 3D at the time.  I believe that the other systems on the list have held up very well as they do a good job what what they were meant to.  While the N64 does suffer from some of the same problems that the PS1/Saturn do, it has far more games that are still enjoyable today.

I didn't vote as the PS1 & Saturn are pretty much tied for me.

I would say for 2D systems, the greatness started with the NES and just got better.  For 3D, it really started with the Dreamcast.

Stop hating and start playing.
