@ Twestern

It seems pretty hard for a lot of these devs, spewing out PS2 level graphics, and being a bit of a graphic programmer i think it is as hard as i think but i digress,

Working in the games industry and even doing a bit of graphics programming too I don't think it is.

A lot of folkes aks why the Wii is so succesfull yet does not a lot of big blockbuster games like say devil may cre etc... And i don't know about you but ever since the Wii has come to the market it has had a lot of resistance from a lot of people in the gaming industry. Maybe you haven't noticed, i dont know

No big blockbusters?

http://vgchartz.com/games/index.php?name=&console=Wii&publisher=&genre=&keyword=&order=Sales

I see twenty games right there that have sold over a million with only three of those being non exclusives.

I never said there are no block busters twestern, i am saying a lot of other people ... oh forget it, it seems you totally missed my point so i am not gonna do this with you anymore.

Glad you find Graphics progamming easy maybe i will ask you for some help/tips later if thats cool.

Oh I don't find computer graphics easy but I have done it before and I do know plenty about programming (since one of my degrees in in CS) so I have a good idea what goes into it.

Me saying it's not as hard as you think it is isn't saying that it's simple and any person could do it, I'm just saying that adapting your engine for the Wii isn't any harder than adapting your engine for any other current engine.

And I guess with your blockbuster comment you're trying to argue that people are ignorant?  I could have told you that.  Even game developers are people too and not all of them follow every piece of news about every game for every console/system out there.

A few of us were actually joking around today how we've gone from use to loving 80+ hour games or 48 hour gaming sessions to liking games we can pick up for 30 minutes and then go do something else as we get older.  Another guy who had been around a while was even talking about the longer he's worked in the industry the more he gets jaded.  I'm going a little off topic now I suppose, but just saying even the developers might not all be super hardcore gamers.

To tell you the truth I actually play pen and paper games and CCG's more than I actually play video games now.  Anyways, I'll stop going on random tangents.
