I still don't get how that would ruin it for you guys.  I mean I just platinumed DS but I don't think having an easy mode would ruin it.  Just have a trophy for beating on hard so everyone knows the guy is a pussy.  Also keep the online communities separate for easy and hard.  That way everyone gets to enjoy the experience they want.  I just don't really like the mechanics so the challenge is the only thing that had me go for DS and that was only after it got free on + was I motivated to finish (with a lot of help from a pro who had beaten NG++++++)
