The sales that xbl has been having these last couple months though has been amazing. I bought Trials Evolution, Red Dead Redemption, MGS HD Collection and all The Walking Dead episodes for a combined $40 on sale. That would cost me over $80 normally.

I got The Walking Dead Episode 1 for free. I like it, but I want a retail copy, so I'm waiting on that to drop to $10.

What will you do with the War Games pass? I refuse to pay for XBL Gold again, I'm sick of MS and their greed.

I refuse to pay full price for it but my favorite games and my close friends are on xbox so I get 12 month cards pretty cheap if I can find them. Whether I continue with it next gen depends on a couple factors. If all my games on demand and xbl arcade games work and they do more to add value to the gold membership, like allow you to play arcade games on pc's/tablets etc then I will keep my membership. If not I will pick the console that has the best value for my needs.

edit: oh and I would get the war games pass for the map packs if their any good. Not sure if they are though, I have to look into it.

This is just my opinion but I think the first map pack is not very good at all, the second map pack is pretty good, and the third map pack is almost up there with the best Halo maps that I've played.
