How stripped down? Theres no way it would not be lacking wi-fi as Microsoft genereates quite a bit of revenue off xbox live.

 

Honestly wi-fi and HDMI only and not able to play original xbox games for $99 would still sell like hotcakes, even without a hard drive and small flash memory.

I dunno. Just guessing to facilitate such a price cut. Maybe cut it down to just wifi and one HDMI slot. No usb slots or ethernet port. Parts stripped down so this thing is only the size of a few DVD boxes stacked on top of eachother.

Upgradeable flash memory or external harddrive support? Who knows. Plenty ways to go about it.
