YES! The 1st one does totaly have a "lost" feeling or I'd say a isolated feeling. Lara is always on her own and the first game makes it feel like she is only has her wits and a pair of guns to get herself out of the most dangerious situations. The seconded gave her more tools and vehicles so it started to feel a little less like it was all her skills. I think that's why I loved the new Tomb Raider so much. She is isolated and alone just like the original.

BTW, I still love that polygon painting!

Oh you explained better what I meant when you said "lost". I was trying to think of what I meant and that fits so perfectly. I agree with what you said about the second one, so we feel pretty much the same about it. I was always worried they might have Sonic'ed the Tomb Raider series eventually and lose all that made it so good. The new TR sounds like a good direction for the series... I haven't had a chance to play it yet though so I can't say much else about it.

Thanks for the compliment :) I wanna go back and polish it. I haven't had much time to do anything. Right now people are not emailing me back and I am behind on everything else. So sad. lol

On topic, $9 is cheap for these games... OP should get them and play through the first two :) A lot of people seemed to like Last Revelations though it's one I'm missing from my collection. I'll probably wait for that Steam sale again
