Pretty much, if you are going to be a jerk about features and whatnot, for maximizing profits, etc... you better bring stuff people MUST have. So, it is valid to ask what the heck Microsoft has that is so compelling people won't defect. As per this thread here:

Would be good if Microsoft get some news out soon. Orthy's bruhaha isn't creating the best kind of buzz for Microsoft. This isn't like Microsoft isn't facing any competition.
