I think people get more excited for new IP's by familiar developers than for sequels of familiar series'. honestly I've never been an Uncharted fan, I watched my roommate play all of the all the way through, thoroughly enjoyed watching, but I thought game play was rather boring.. and I feel like people were satisfied after 2, like a third one wasn't really necessary, and people knew what to expect, so the hype level was down. |
yeah I like that people are starting to identify games as ND games rather than games of a series. I hope the mass audience starts to realize it's developers that make a game great not a name.
