I hate the blu blu blue thing. Its a relic of the 16 bit era. It seems even Fire emblem awakening has it and i find it really annoying.
Just give us text, that is fine.
I am really annoyed about this news, and i hope the games get released in europe, because im losing faith on this series, not because of the quality but because they are spitting on fans faces way too often. They dont seem interested in making a some profit and satisfying their userbase growing the fanbase in the west. They want the greedy big bucks, and that isnt going to happen in the west. I personally am getting sick of this to the point of feeling like completely boycotting Namco's games. Their reasons are illogical and inconsistant.
This Hideo Baba guy seems to be the biggest obstacle to the growth of the series outside Japan.
Seriously... translate the text, we dont even need voices and release it digitally on the PSN. There is no way in hell you wont make a profit with such low costs and the game will probably sell as much or more in europe+Us combines than it did on Japan alone, if the numbers Tales of the abyss pulled are anything to go by (it outsold Japan). What i cant take is them developing the same games twice for Japan and not even giving the west a chance. Its ridiculous.

Sorry , what do you mean by "developing the same games twice for Japan and not even giving the west a chance" ? I don't get it

Like Rol said, Innocence, Hearts and Tempest are Tales of games for the DS that never left Japan. I think they all sold above 200k units there, but Namco never brought them over.
Now, they chose to remake those games with better quality for the Vita (Tempest still to be seen, as it was heavily criticised for beeing bad), and us fools thought that this time they would certainly bring them over. They sold less than 100k each and still we get nothing! They spent their money twice developing these games and releasing them on the Japanese market and they couldnt bring them over either time. This "not selling enough in the US" is a load of c**p. The DS sold loads but i guess then the excuse was "piracy", even though the DS games sold great despite that.
Basically Namco wants us to get on our knees and beg them very very hard, so they can spit on our faces and laugh. That is whats going on here. They dont care, were second thought customers. With this kind of atitude, yeah... theres no way the series is going to grow here. I'm impressed they decided to bring out Graces and Xillia. But, knowing them, they wont release Xillia 2 so they can spit on our faces again. It happened before with Tales of Destiny 2 afterall. I guess back then the excuse was "westerners only care about 3D games". They always have a terrible one ready.
