I'm speaking out of pure speculation when I say that if it requires to be connected at all time then I wouldn't put it past Microsoft to team up with a cable/satellite provider to make this a Cable box/VG console/Home entertainment system. In that case, it would make logical sense for it to be connected & very likely that it will outsell the PS4.
