1) Beat a game on the highest difficulty on your own without any hint books or cheats
2) Play a game you think you'll hate
3) Participate in a video game tournament, even if it's a small, informal one
4) Get a bunch of friends together to play through a local co-op game
5) Play through the pantheon of great games: Ocarina of Time, Super Mario World, Tetris, Final Fantasy VII, Street Fighter II, Half-Life 2, Metal Gear Solid, Resident Evil 4, etc.
