Yes, it is about the games and the most popular games will be available on the more consumer-friendly PS4.
Its funny how no one has complained about Microsoft buying Pando Media Booster. This is basically spyware that eats up your bandwidth and it will most likely be installe with every Xbox 720.

While a business website reporting that Pando was purchased by Microsoft is likely reliable, any statements they make about gaming should likely be taken entirely as rumor. While the article does say the software is planned to be used in the next-gen Xbox, how can we know for sure before Microsoft has even unveiled the thing? Maybe Microsoft just wanted Pando's patents for peer-to-peer transfer. Maybe it's nothing at all.

This is rumor of course. If they decide to install it on every Xbox, we wont' know for some time. Probably until someone hacks the damn thing.

Because of they got Pando running on every Xbox, it will be heavily integrated into the OS. I doubt they would allow you to uninstall/disable it. This will take a load off their servers and considering all Xbox 720s will be always online, they better do something about these servers. I don't think Pando is the answer though as it is very anti-consumer. If you're not familiar with the program, it usually installs by itself with something like an MMORPG. It doesn't ask you if you want to install this malware, it installs on its own and you don't even notice.
