Yes. But the answer is either SEGA or Capcom |
See, this is what I don't understand.
Capcom provided some lightgun Resident Evil games; Tatsunoko vs. Capcom; Monster Hunter & ports of Okami & Dead Rising.
SEGA provided average-at-best entries in their Sonic; Monkey Ball; Nights & Conduit franchises, plus a Mario Olympics tie-in and a load of ports.
I mean, EA did as much as SEGA did. They had the best (and only) online FPS on Wii for a number of years. The provided exclusive entries in most of their major franchises (The Sims; Need for Speed; Dead Space; SSX; Skate etc.). Plus they ported FIFA, Madden, Need for Speed & Rock Band every year. And then a load of shovelware like everyone else churned out on Wii.
Objectively, I don't see that as any worse than the other two. I mean, SEGA didn't even make a good game for Wii; I suppose Sonic Colours was the best. At least Dead Space + the Rock Band ports were decent enough games. From a quality point of view, I can at least understand saying Capcom put in more effort, but I definitely don't think it's true for SEGA.
I was only bringing this up because I actually looked at my Wii games collection and genuinely the most third-party titles I own are EA games. SSX Blur was a great game beyond the motion controls; MySims Agents was fun; SimCity Creator was at least an attempt at the franchise on consoles & Need for Speed Nitro was a fun - if lightweight - Burnout clone.
Each to their own I guess!
