You're correct! It's an upgraded Dink Smallwood engine (retail version was 1.04, this is 1.08 with 24-bit support and some technical enhancements) It's a pretty archaic engine, but it offers a nice set to work with.
To answer Twesterm's question: no, I didn't make everything myself, in fact about 25% is Dink Smallwood's own graphics, 45% is ripped graphics from numerous games and about 30% is made by many different artists (amateur work). I make about 5% of the game's graphics, though I do alter every single graphic to fit in the game, so it's actually tons of work because I don't know much about making graphics.
Most of the work I do goes in mapping and programming.
