My (adult) daughter plays Halo, Gears, Zelda, GTA, but also DDR (but not Just Dance for some reason)

MY niece plays whatever her brother is playing, but also a lot of 'girlie' games like Barble and High School Ghouls but her mom is a big Zelda/RPG fan.

My wife on the other hand plays Just Dance, a bit of Crazy taxi and Four Pics/One Word. To her video games are for children (unless she happens to like it) but I was also of that opinion (for consoles) up until I got a Wii.

In my experience women 30+ are probably just into what folks here label 'casual' but they might be very 'core' into their casual games (IE a couple of the women at work put serious hours into that Simpson App game). Women in their teens and twenties are more likely to play what's considered 'core'. Perhaps because it was something they did with their Dad/brothers. - Any thoughts on that ladies?

Would be interesting to see a study on it.
