Racing.
I don't hate racing games. They just don't impress me much. They can be boring and there are way too many franchises of racers out there. They haven't innovated or even imporved much at all... from Pole Position on the freakin Atari.
I just need 1 racing game per every 2 generations or so to keep me happy.
Not to big on puzzle games either. They're ok.
Though Puzzle Quest is about 100 times better then any racing game i've ever played.
Edit: Oh music games! I forgot about music games. That would be number 1 for me. To me music guitar hero is just the "action sequence" part of platformers set to music. As for Karoke games... I don't even understand how they work.
Music games are the only genre i can think of i get no enjoyment from. Well the Takio drum game was pretty funny... if only for the hilarious aspect of drumming out the beat to the Dragon Ball Z theme.
