The thing is, if we go by what this article says, we really don't "need" anything. That book he told us to read once we stepped away from our computers? Yeah, we don't need that. That freedom to be able to go to school? Yeah, you really don't need that either.
Whenever people say things like this it always baffles me. Of course we don't need all this stuff, but do we really need anything (except the obvious)? Well... no.
