It's 99% shovelware that nobody buys, and nobody pay attention to. Even if a game gets a few sales or microtransaction, there's no following, nobody reading about the game on IGN or looking for the next release. Phones are a dead end for game development. Angry birds is one of the few success stories, and the only real mega-successful game to arise from the smartphone market. Many free browser flash games are much better than the games you have to pay for - one way or another - on phones.
