I agree with most of what you say, but I can't see PS3 getting to 100m.
OT: I predict Sony PS4 to win, and if all the NextBox rumors are true, I think we'll see PS2 like domination again. ( I don't think it'll do 150m, I mean in terms of marketshare)

Say it stays on market till 2017
It still hasn't reached $200, a price PS2 was at 2 years into its cycle.
I'm saying it's possible to have 10m this year bringing it to 81m (probably more but let's go with VGchartz
It gets another cut in 2014 to $150 and I say it reaches 8m that year so 89m
2015=5m to bring it to 94m
2016=3m to bring it to 97m
2017=2m to bring it to 99m
throw in some sales past that and the undertracking and you've got about PSone levels here I say (could be pessimistic with my predictions too).
Not a certainty but possible.
