I don't see why not, Polyphony spend too much time developing them anyway, GT 5 was 5 years after GT 4 and GT 5 is nearly 3 years old already and we've heard not even much of a leak on a new one yet. I don't think they could release them more often unless they hired far more people. Hopefully a PS4 GT will come sooner rather than later. Also, i think every 2 years is too often as Gran Turismo is a game that is meant to have many hours put into it over a number of years, especially when they put 1000 cars in it!
As, for Burnout i know they haven't released one since Paradise. It's a shame really that was an amazing game but Need for Speed has improved alot since Criterion started making them.
