So why the hell did they talk about a PS3 version in the first place? Its not like it came from some third-party source or something.

I don't recall them ever talking about a PS3 version.

And kingofwale, he said "360 console exclusive"...I assumed it meant for consoles, it's 360 exclusive.

But of course I know all about the PC version...you'd be stupid to buy a console version anyway...it's like buying the PC version of Halo...dumb.

Well some of us don't have any other choice. I plan on buying the 360 version. It's not like I don't want to buy it on PC. It just that my PC can't handle it! XD

And c'mon, it can't be THAT bad. I mean, I bought Orange Box for 360, and it was still an excellent game. Still had me immersed and I had a pretty good experience.

And I guess one thing that's better on 360 for Left 4 Dead is that most Live users have a mic that bundled with the console. And Left 4 Dead being a co-op heavy game, I find that's it's a much better way to communicate.

Another point, I can't see this game coming to PS3, after the Orange Box ported to PS3 fiasco. I think Valve (or Turtlerock Productions? Clarify please!) might just forget porting over to the PS3.

I certainly understand the sentiment of buying it on what you have.  However, the mic statement is pretty weak.  You can buy a PC mic for $10, and there aren't going to be many (if any) PC gamers on this game without mics.  Most groups will probably require them in fact.

Also, neither Valve nor Turtle Rock have anything to do with the 360 port.  EA is publishing it, and they hired some studio named Certain Affinity to do it.  Apparently all this studio has done before this is made Halo 2 maps.
