You're ignoring userbase..but I'd genreally agree. The Japanese devs that went Multiplat have to had asked themselves....was it even worth it? SE did so much damage to their own brand and thats not exclusively due to going MP but for the simple fact their "LETS APPEAL TO THE WEST" movement was centred around giving MS early exclusive support now look at them.
