There are very few games where I find the online enjoyable.
Waiting for a game to start is annoying, load times are enough waiting already. Then you always have people that quit directly after it starts or halfway through. Plus most online games just consist of the same levels over and over again. Another problem is I like to be immersed in the sound of games. Turning the game volume down to understand what people are saying, which is mostly noise anyway, is not my preferred way to enjoy a game.
The only games I really like the online are Journey and Dark Souls.
GT5 online is ok, although it always takes a while to find a good room, more waiting before a race starts, and half the field usually drops out during the race. If I only have a little while to play I'll stick to the seasonal challenges instead.
LBP local multiplayer -> never laughed so hard.
LBP online multiplayer -> most frustrating experience.
