Anyways, i don't get why VGC has a bad rep over there..its obviously something they overreacted to, but that doesn't really say anything about their community as a whole. From what ive seen over there, the gaming discussion is way ahead of the discussion happening on this site (which is probably why all the "stealing" is going on). |
Conversation here seems a little too "incestuous" at times that the same topics continue re-emerging, re-evolving, rebirthing all over the place (i.e Doom Threads, OT threads, etc). VGC doesn't seem a whole lot active as other forums I've been to which is what I think is part of the reason we don't have a lot of diverse discussion... At least to me that's a significant part of it.
When I open Hot Topics and 9/10 are the same topic by the same few people, you've got a problem for keeping people interacting/involving in the community. If that is really where all our people are going, then maybe that explains that also... just some ideas and thoughts.
