But what exactly is stopping Playstation gamers from buying these games? The games becoming available on the 360 shouldn't stop them from enjoying them, unless they're fanboys who cares more about the platform than the games themselves. I guess you could say that the 360 held the games back and made them worse but that would be a lie so that's not a very good argument.
It seems to me that these games didn't fail because of the platform(s) but because of several other factors. Some are simply spin-offs and I don't understand the point in comparing mainline games with spin-offs as spin-offs mostly sell much less, multiplat or not. Some games weren't at all that well recieved by the fans (FFXIII, DMC etc.). And then you really need to consider all of the new (or returning) IP's of this generation. There's a chance that gamers simply moved on to other franchises.
