Obviously Nvidia can provide the tech, the contrary would be laughable...specially when Sony needs the best prices to build the new machine in its current situation.
Simply AMD went on desperation mode and Nvidia didnt counter-offer, so Sony chose AMD for its competitive price.
AMD is poor mans Nvidia, deal with it, not that it matters though...
