We.... have different taste in anime. This just looks silly and stupid IMO.

That said, there is talks that there might be a new series of Dragon Ball Z coming out. If DBZ: Battle of the Gods makes over 30 million yen or something, there will be a new Dragon Ball Z, and apparently the movie is tracking above One Peices's latest movie in Japan, and that movie did break 30 million.

So yay!

Another DBZ movie? :S I thought that shit ended with Dragon Ball GT.

I don't see how they can continue the story from Z tbh.

Well they would continue it in a stupid way.

Basically Dragon Ball GT was written by a different person, so the new series of Dragon Ball Z would completely ignore Dragon Ball GT, and continue a bit after the Majin Buu saga. The new movie has a new SSJ transformation called SSJ God (instead of 4) and to be honest it looks a lot like an SSJ4, but with gold hair (see my avatar).

So it would be kinda silly.

However the logic makes sense. One Piece, Naruto and Bleech are the 3 largest, high income gathering animes, and the main reason for that is because they never end. While other better animes like Dragon Ball Z, Code Geuss, Samurai Champloo, Death Note, Full Metal Alchemist, Black Lagoon, Bacanno (best Anime ever, strongly recommend), etc end, the big 3 keep making money. Well Dragon Ball Z has one of the largest anime followings, and a following which is willing to keep buying DBZ products (Games, TV show in HD, Kai, etc) despite the saga ending well over a decade ago.

So it makes sense that they want to bring it back, I just hope it's as good as it was before. However I don't like how they ignored GT, I thought the SSJ4 transformation made the most sense out of all the post SSJ1 transformations.

That makes sense. The GT series ever reached the popularity of Z so scrapping that and going to an alternate timeline sorta makes sense. It's kinda wierd that they made yet another powerup for the Saiyans.. but hey thats the Dragon Ball way lol.. Oh yeah did they ever finish the up the DBZ series with Kai?

And from the list the only anime I havn't seen is Baccano, but I have the full series so I might watch that after done with Magi. Full Metal Panic is awesome aswell as Darker than Black but both anime's ended prematurely. So you'll have to watch the ova's or read the manga online to continue the story. Also watch Cowboy Bebop and (to a lesser degree) Michiko to Hatchin if you liked Samurai Champloo.

No, Kai stops after Cell, but all Kai is, is a remake of Dragon Ball Z, but compressed to remove a lot of excessive power up and talk time.

As for Full Metal Panic, I've had people recommend it to me. I will watch it soon. I saw Darker then Black, it was good. Coyboy Bebop was excellent, I'll look into Michiko to Hatchin.

If you like the list of anime I mentioned, I recommend Claymore, Elfein Lied, and Durarara (I may have mis-spelled it). Durarara is by the same guy as Bacanno, but Bacanno.....that's the best Anime I've seen in the last 10 years, and it's short too. Elfein Lied is good too, but it's really bloody and psychopathic, you have to like really dark anime to appreciate this because it's essentailly about the life of a little girl psychopath. Claymore is good too, but it starts really really slow, and ends very differently then the Manga (they end it at the mid point of the manga). It's a shame too because the later half of the manga revealed so much about the show, kinda reminds me of a twisted form of Fire Emblem (won't spoil it, but there are dragons in the manga, but not the show).

Any recommendations for me?

Still need to watch the last few eps of Claymore and Elfein Lied was ok. Not seen Durarara but have been meaning to watch that. If you liked Elfein Lied I'd reccomend Mirai Nikki, Gungrave and Hellsing (not seen ultimate) all quite dark/gory but great. Also watch Monster if you liked Death Note, its REALLY good. Trigun and Sunabozu (Desert Punk) are worth looking into as well.
