i don't like to buy games that lose all their value, i might as well wait at that point. With digital they have no value as soon as you buy them. I know most people don't seem to mind spending $60 on a new game and maybe sell it for $10 later but i do. It's easier just to buy games that hold their value, then if you want to sell them you can actually buy a newer game. Perhaps its because i've been through several generations already, but i'm in no hurry to buy the newest game, even if i really want to play it. My backlog from previous generations is pretty much infinite anyways.
