This is what would happen with Diablo 3 if reviewers did it now. Or even did it months after release. Modern Warfare 2 is another prime example. The Metascore is based on nothing but hype. If people went back and re-reviewed that game even 3 months after release the scores would have been very different due to the glitches and wildly unbalanced gameplay people began to exploit. Like I said though, the removal of the auction house instantly makes it just that much better. If some other core changes are made then I might rebuy the game on consoles. Would take a lot though. |
The Real Money Auction House isn't that much of a problem in DIII because there's nothing on there that you can't get in the Fake Money Aunction House.
