My biggest pet peeve in games is having to unlock the hardest difficulty by beating the second hardest. I JUST WANNA GET THE CHALLENGE OUTTA THE WAY! The whole time I'm playing through the game instead of going "I'll never have to deal with that again" I'm saying "oh god it's going to be even harder next time!" No annoyance can compare to that. It costs the Uncharted games a point in my ratings.
