prof usually has a habit of focusing on things I think are a waste of time when he's town.
You apologized for not being here sooner when nobody had even called you out for not being here, and the Day was still very young. And went on to say you're catching up while acknowledging there's not much to catch up on. You simply seem over-eager to show that you're all good-intentioned.
