The ending to Suikoden 3 tore me a to pieces. I was sad for quite awhile, though at the same time, I can't imagine the ending being anything different. It still kind of gets to me, even now, when I think about it. Someone need to burn for not continuing Suikoden.
I've mentioned this before in another thread, and it's probably not the kind of ending this thread is talking about, but the true ending to Soul Edge was actually the first ending I was able to get--because Seigfried was overpowered and I kept failing with my favorite character (Taki)--and I thought it was the coolest thing in the world. I mean, I was NOT expecting that by winning I would be consumed by the evil sword and turned into Nightmare. When it showed him standing over that town looking all bad-ass, I was totally hooked on the series.
