which GoW games have you played?

obviously none or he has an extremly short attention span. 

the way kratos looks, his weapon, his motive, how he became a servant all have a background story. and more 

exactly from what happened to his brother, his mother, what he did to his family etc etc

kratos' motivations for what he does and his behavior in general are explained in detail throughout the series

i didn't realise this myth that kratos is just senselessly angry is still going around

although i'd be lying if i didn't admit that i expected ascension to give more details on his past but if fell short there ( the only area that it did imo )
