For you maybe, but for me it's one of my favorite game series just behind Uncharted.
@OP Yeah, I really don't know what you even expected in the game. You sound like a lot of the other reviewers who said it wasn't as epic as GoW3 because you aren't killing gods or titans. It's like you really thought a prequel would be able to top GoW3. As for the weapons, how about you read what the game tells you unlocks when you upgrade them. Graphics are the best on ps3.

unlocked everything. the point is all 4 elements add up to the same weapon that has the same timing and the same effects. sure you get a little difference in combos, but it's entirely unnecessary to switch at any point in the game. you can use fire forever and not come to any trouble. i know i did. i never bothered switching and i didn't have any difficulty, and yes, even archimedes trials weren't all that tough. at least in previous games, there was actually some difference in the weapons.
if you think the graphics are so good i have no idea where you're looking. i can see so many jaggies and low res textures i couldn't believe it was on ps3.
it's not about killing gods or titans again. at least they should've added some other things to kill rather than the same 3 women over and over again.

the same could be said of GoW 3 for example its up to the player to choose which weapon suits them best
btw what difficulty did you play on?

if you only felt compelled to fight against the gods why did you buy the game in the first place?
