compare that to previous god of war games where Kratos had an array of weapons that really did do different things. to name a few, the cestus from god of war 3 and the barbarian hammer from god of war 2 were completely different from the blades of chaos and they had a whole different set of move lists. aside from that, they required completely different timing and situational uses. kratos also had a bow, running boots, wings, not to mention that he had the blade of olympus itself. so now which one has variety? |
with comments like that i honestly find it extremely hard to believe that you actually played the game
no the four elements do not move at the same speed lightning is faster than the others for example
all have effects on opponents not just breaking blocks, lightning shocks/stuns, hades releases souls etc
they ALL have different combos outside of tapping square repeated
but the most important new element of all is the rage meter which if you're skillful enough opens your moveset up even more with extra abilities
"compare that to previous god of war games where Kratos had an array of weapons that really did do different things. to name a few, the cestus from god of war 3"
nonsense beyond the cestus in 3 which of his other core weapons played vastly different to the blades? sure as hell not the whip or claws
sure he also had the bow, helios head and boots of hermes, but they offer as much in combat as the the real world weapons in ascension
then there's the fact that there was no rage meter, no stones etc
i'mn not even going to get into the bs about graphics or game length ( which is about the same as 3 )
