You might not have enjoyed it very much but its a solid god of war game. So far my only complaint is the menus. They are ugly as hell Oh and i didnt juststop reading just because that. I dont want to take the chance of spoilers. So far im at the trophy controversy and feel it's on par with every god of war so far and even better than 1 and the psp versions |
There's a difference with the previous games. Those ones had a longer progression of fights and more "important" things happened. in Ascension, you're basically fighting the same 3 bitches over and over again and you're not getting anywhere - at the end, Kratos didn't become a god, didn't become a god slayer, nothing. He just killed the 3 bitches who were tormenting him.
In god of war 1, he killed the god of war, Ares, and became the god of war in his stead. In god of war 2, he traveled back in time, restarted the war of the titans and the gods, killed athena, and bitch-slapped Zeus himself. In god of war 3, he destroyed the entirety of Olympus and killed all the titans at the same time. In Ascension, he killed 3 "Servants of Ares". Basically, there's no "god" in that game.
