You can hook up your PSP (2000 or 3000 and go?) to your tv with the appropriate cables. It won't be full screen, but it will still be bigger. You have to have a converter or xrgb to make it full screen though.
OT: For me PS2>PS1>PSP>>>>>>>>PS3. (I haven't really used Vita that much to judge it.)
