What Nintendo truly need right now are quality first party games and not dealing with some hack, they have too much work to turn WiiU into success.
In case of western 3rd parties Nintendo is not interested in them look at THQ and or Eurocom in recent memory, it was an easy pick for them but they didn't care.
The worst thing is to become some whore as it was in case with SQUARE and GBA license.
The truth is western 3rd party games hardly sell on Nintendo platforms with exception of some occasional games based on successful movies especially Star Wars
